RV Slide-Out Repair, Rescue & Landing Gear
Fixin Trips diagnoses and repairs many slide-out failures onsite. If the problem can't be repaired where the RV sits, slide rescue may still get the room retracted and secured so the RV can travel safely to a repair shop.
Mon–Fri · 7AM–7PM
A slide-out can stop working because of gears, motors, switches, wiring, low voltage or other mechanical and electrical problems. Fixin Trips diagnoses the failure onsite and repairs many of these causes where the RV sits when the work is within scope.
When the underlying problem cannot be repaired onsite and the RV can't travel with the room extended, slide rescue is the next option. When possible, the slide is retracted and secured in a safe condition for travel so the RV can be taken to a repair shop for further work.
Landing gear and stabilizer jacks on fifth wheels and travel trailers have their own set of common issues — motors that don't move the gear, blown fuses on the gear circuit, and low-voltage conditions that can make a healthy motor seem dead.
Landing gear and stabilizer jacks are diagnosed onsite, and common fuses and hardware are carried on the service vehicle where possible.
A certified RV technician comes to your RV anywhere in Central Oregon.

Questions
Slide-Out Repair & Rescue FAQs
Do you repair slide-outs?
Yes. Fixin Trips diagnoses and repairs many slide-out failures onsite, including problems involving gears, motors, switches and electrical components. If the underlying problem cannot be repaired onsite, we may still be able to retract and secure the slide so the RV can travel safely to a repair shop.
Can you get my slide in so I can travel?
Yes. We first determine whether the slide can be repaired onsite. If it cannot, a slide rescue may still retract and secure it, when possible, so the RV can travel safely to a repair shop for further work.
Do you diagnose landing gear on fifth wheels?
Yes — landing gear and stabilizer jack motors, switches and their electrical circuits are in scope.
