Winterization season — book before the first hard freeze
High desert nights drop below freezing early. One freeze in an un-winterized RV can split the water pump, crack fittings and damage the water heater — a repair that costs many times more than the service. Winterizing is done onsite wherever your RV sits. See RV winterization & de-winterization.

Current high priority — book ahead of the first hard freeze
A hard freeze in an un-winterized RV can damage a water pump and fittings, turning a modest service into a much larger plumbing repair.

No power. No lights. Nothing works. Electrical faults are among the most-misdiagnosed problems in an RV, and they're worth tracing properly instead of replacing parts hopefully.

Water problems in an RV rarely stay small. A weeping fitting behind a wall can lead to soft flooring, and a pump that cycles all night is usually telling you something is wrong elsewhere in the system.

No hot water can end a trip early, and it's often a repairable control or ignition issue rather than a failed tank.
Learn moreRV Slide-Out Repair, Rescue & Landing Gear
Fixin Trips diagnoses and repairs many slide-out failures onsite. If the problem can't be repaired where the RV sits, slide rescue may still get the room retracted and secured so the RV can travel safely to a repair shop.
Learn moreWhy mobile service
No hauling, no drop-off, no three-week wait
Traditional RV shops require you to move the rig, leave it, and wait for a bay to open — often weeks, usually right when you need the RV. Mobile service removes all of that. Your RV stays where it is, you keep your day, and the person diagnosing the problem is the person fixing it. Watch your friendly technician during the repair and learn more about your RV.

How service works
Straightforward from the first phone call
Here's exactly how a Fixin Trips service call works.
- 1
We talk it through
Call and describe the symptoms, your RV year and type. We'll determine whether the issue is inside Fixin Trips' scope before anyone drives out.
- 2
We schedule the visit
We schedule your service call based on the first available appointment in your area. This helps prevent the long waits you'd experience taking your RV to a repair facility.
- 3
Diagnose and repair
We diagnose and fix the problem in real time, explaining the process as we go. This helps you understand exactly what you're paying for and how your RV was repaired.
- 4
Payment Options
We accept multiple forms of payment, including onsite credit card payments, checks and cash.
Parts & readiness
A fully stocked service truck means fixed on the first trip.
Fixin Trips carries the largest assortment of parts on our service trucks. This allows us to beat our competitors by providing the parts to complete your service needs at your first appointment. This prevents multiple trips, multiple appointments and multiple inconveniences that you don't want.

What customers say
Real reviews from Central Oregon RV owners
Reviews carried over from customers who have used Fixin Trips.
“We lost the use of our RV furnace on our last trip. We had another trip coming up so I was a bit panicked as to how I could get it in to service quickly. I found Fixin Trips Mobile RV Service through Google. Nate responded to my call and we set up the earliest appointment he had, which was only a fe…”
“Nate was the only one we could get a hold of when our furnace decided to try to die on us in the middle of the snowstorm. He was able to fit us in the very next day and addressed an additional issue with our water heater that had popped up as well. The level of experience he has working on RVs shows…”
“Nate is wonderful to work with. Unlike The Big Boys, Nate is willing to work with the RV owner to trouble shoot problems and to offer tips and advice to keep the RV's systems operating smoothly. Nate is willing to fix things not just replace them. He got our generator running, the air conditioner pr…”
