Annual RV Service & Maintenance
Regularly scheduled maintenance can extend the life of an RV, and it's generally a cost-effective way to catch problems before they end a trip.
Mon–Fri · 7AM–7PM
RVs can deteriorate from sitting as much as from use. Seals dry out, batteries can sulfate, propane appliances collect debris in their burners, and water systems can develop deposits over time. None of that always announces itself in advance — it can show up as a furnace that won't light in the first cold week, or a water pump that fails on a trip.
Annual service is a systematic pass through the systems Fixin Trips works on: furnace and water heater function, refrigerator performance on both power sources, 12-volt system and battery condition, water system pressure and leak check, pump operation, landing gear and stabilizer jack function, a slide-out operation check, and A/C function in season. Many slide problems involving gears, motors, switches or electrical components can be diagnosed and repaired onsite. Structural or other out-of-scope failures may require a repair shop, and a stuck slide may be retracted and secured for safe travel when possible. What's found is explained, with a distinction between what needs attention now and what can reasonably wait.
For seasonal owners in Central Oregon, a common rhythm is annual service and winterization in the fall, then de-winterization and a pre-trip check in the spring.

Questions
Annual Service FAQs
How often should an RV be serviced?
Once a year for most owners, plus seasonal winterization and de-winterization in a climate like Central Oregon's. Rigs that sit in storage for long periods can benefit as much as heavily used ones.
What's included in annual RV service?
A systematic check of the furnace, water heater, refrigerator, 12-volt system, water system and pump, landing gear, and slide-out operation, plus A/C in season — followed by a clear rundown of what needs attention. In-scope slide failures can be diagnosed and repaired onsite.
Can annual service be done at my house or storage lot?
Yes. All Fixin Trips work is mobile — service happens wherever your RV is parked in the Central Oregon service area.
Will you inspect the roof and seals?
No. Exterior roof, siding, awning and window work is outside Fixin Trips' scope. Annual service covers the interior systems and appliances.
