About Fixin Trips
What is mobile RV repair?
Mobile RV repair means a certified technician travels to your RV instead of you hauling it to a shop. Fixin Trips performs diagnosis and repair onsite — at homes, rural properties, storage yards, RV parks and campgrounds throughout Central Oregon.
What area does Fixin Trips serve?
Central Oregon. Priority communities are Bend (including Tumalo), Redmond, Crooked River Ranch, Terrebonne, Sisters, Madras and Culver. Call if you're unsure whether your location is covered.
What are your hours?
Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, open year-round.
How do I reach you?
Calling is fastest: 541-699-8799. Email is fixintrips@outlook.com for non-urgent questions. Because the technician is working on an RV most of the day, a phone call gets the quickest answer.
Pricing & process
Service calls, billing and warranties
How does a service call work?
It starts with a phone conversation. Our technician asks about symptoms, your RV year and type, and what changed, to confirm the issue is inside Fixin Trips' scope before anyone drives out. If it isn't, you'll be told plainly at no cost.
Do you offer free estimates?
No. Diagnosis is real technical work, so it is billed. What is free is the phone conversation that determines whether the job is a fit.
What if the problem can't be fixed?
If we can't fix it, we don't charge.
Do you handle RV warranty claims?
Not directly. You can pay Fixin Trips for eligible service and then pursue reimbursement with your warranty provider yourself. Fixin Trips does not process or bill warranty claims on your behalf.

Toilet sales and replacement are available.
What don't you work on?
No roadside assistance, towing or tire changes; no engine, chassis or brake work; no generator repair; no solar systems; no black tank service, sewage or odor work; no exterior siding, roof, awning or window repair; no food truck repair; and no RVs or trailers older than 1995.
What types of RVs do you service?
Class A, B and C motorhomes, fifth wheels, travel trailers and campervans, model year 1995 and newer.
Can you service my RV while it's in storage or at a campground?

Seasons
Timing in Central Oregon
When should I winterize my RV in Central Oregon?
Before the first hard freeze — in the high desert that can arrive in October, sometimes earlier at elevation. One freeze in an un-winterized water system can split the pump and crack fittings, which costs far more than the service.
Why does the furnace matter so much here?
Central Oregon's elevation produces freezing nights across far more months than most owners expect, so furnace work is a year-round priority rather than a winter-only job. Furnace and heater parts are the most heavily stocked items on the service vehicle.
Is air conditioning service seasonal?
Yes. RV air conditioning is the one service treated as seasonal, through the warm months. Calling before a heat wave rather than during one is generally easier on everyone.
